FARMERS’ DAY - Sustainable Aquaculture Solutions

AquaCircle, the Danish Aquaculture Organisation and the Innovation Network for Environmental Technologies (Inno-MT) will host Farmers’ Day on Wednesday 11th October. The theme is Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), which will be illustrated from different perspectives. Farmers’ Day will be a chance to acquire information on RAS: production, new developments and concepts and aid to enhance RAS. Furthermore Farmers’ Day will be a chance to meet producers from different countries including Norway, Scotland, France, Iceland, Sweden and Denmark. Presentations will be held in English.

12:45 – 13.00 Welcome greeting from AquaCircle and Inno-MT
13:00 – 13:50 Presentations of latest knowledge in the field of RAS and new innovative technologies by Perkulator, Ekofisk (Sweden), and Scottish Sea Farms (Scotland)
13:50 - 14:05 Break with coffee, soft drinks.
14:05 - 15:05 Prestentations of latest knowledge in the field of RAS and new innovative technologies by DTU-Aqua, OxyGuard, InterAqua Advance and Krüger.
15:05 - 15:20 Break with coffee, soft drinks, cake.
15:20 - 16:00 Presentations of latest knowledge in the field of RAS and new innovative technologies by Roskilde University, Pisco group and Aquatec Solution.
16:00 – 16:20 Panel discussion
16:20 – 18:00 Match-making and general networking facilitated by Inno-MT.

Participation in Farmers’ Day is free of charge and does not require a ticket to DanAqua. Drinks and snacks provided.
